I've posted a few pics of our "Holt Flooring" Christmas party, which was Tuesday, Dec. 18th. We had a delicious meal at Pete's in Kreb's and did desert and gifts at Ted & Evelyn's cabin in Calvin.

I have created a special set of pictures that I don't know where they were taken. If you have a spare moment sometime, browse through them and, if you know something about one, leave me a comment. Please be as descriptive as you can. To get to this set, just click the example photo at right. Once there, you'll see "This photo belongs to: Where were these pictures taken? New Family Pictures
I've uploaded over 30 new family pictures, mostly from the 1960s, including this one of Dixie, Ted, Bob and Bruce A.
If you recognize any pictures posted, please help me out by making a comment. Things that would be helpful are if the ID is incorrect, where and when the picture was taken and/or a short story of what you remember about the event in the picture. I'll use that information to better label the pictures and add any stories to my family tree!
You'll need to be a member of Flickr before you can post comments. To be a member, just accept the invitation I sent you. If I haven't sent you an invitation yet, just email me or you can join right from Flickr (click "sign up" or "sign in" if you already have a Yahoo! ID). Family History Book Preview
Merry Christmas everyone! It's almost here. My "Christmas project" this year is a Family History book which I will be giving out printed copies and CDs of this year. If you're interested in previewing it, I have posted the pages on Flickr. I still have some time to correct errors, so if anyone sees something, let me know!
Since the book has some private data and such, I'm not making it available to the public, so you will need an invitation to view it. Just let me know and I'll send you one. Or click "sign up" on the Flickr page to get your account started. I'll move you over to "family" level as soon as I notice the new account and you'll be able to view the book and other photos marked private.

1948Chieftain

New Photos Over at Flickr
Hey... I've just added several new pics over at Flickr. Actually, I've reloaded everything, this time with TAGS. Which I'm learning is all the rage in the picture circles. It's actually pretty handy. Head over to Flickr Tags (click the link at right). This should give you a list of Photo Tags (you may have to click "Show all Tags"). Make one or more selections of who you want to see pictures off, choose you search selection, and click "Display Photos." This is still pretty new, so it may not be perfect... yet. If you have any problems, let me know.
Things to keep in mind...
- Tags are formatted LastnameFirstName
- Tags for women are MaidennameMarriednameFirstname
- You can also click event tags, like Christmas
- You can select more than one tag to see pictures of two or more persons together in the same photo. Just select the "Show photos with all of the selected tags" option.
